Do you need to jump start your thesis writing? Do you want to become a more productive writer? Do you have specific goals and deadlines this semester that you need to meet to complete your thesis as planned? Graduate students in the thesis phase of their studies are invited to participate in our thesis boot camp. The UL Lafayette Thesis Boot Camp provides Master's students a focused time and space to dedicate to their writing, to receive feedback, and to be supported by others in the thesis phase.
This two-day event will take place Wednesday and Thursday, July 19th & 20th. For both days, the Boot Camp will run from 8:00am-4:30pm.
The UL Lafayette Thesis Boot Camp is designed for Master's students who have approved thesis topics, who are well into their research, and who are actively writing their thesis. It will include group goal setting, opportunities for individual coaching from writing consultants, sustained writing time, and, of course, food and drinks.
This Boot Camp will be limited to 15 Master's students. Participation does require completion of the application below, which is due by July 17th. Students who are selected to participate will be notified and will receive information prior to the start of the event. Students selected to participate are expected to attend the Boot Camp in its entirety. Snacks and lunch will be provided both days.
