Feed Your Mind | Remembering to be Grateful for Grad School

Tuesday, November 27, 2018 - 11:30am to 1:00pm

Join the Graduate School and the James Jackson Community of Scholars for lunch and an incredible opportunity to sit with Dr. James and Betty Jackson, who are among the first persons of color to receive graduate degrees in Louisiana. Together, we'll discuss why we're thankful for graduate school and the opportunities we've been given, as well as hear some of Dr. Jackson's and Mrs. Betty's story.

Feed Your Mind is a series of professional development workshops created in conjunction with the James Jackson Community of Scholars. These events are offered several times a semester and are aimed at helping graduate students develop their academic and professional skills in topics that are relevant and important to today's grad.
