Application for Dissertation Boot Camp

Do you need to jump start your dissertation writing? Do you want to become a more productive writer? Do you have specific goals and deadlines this semester that you need to meet to complete your dissertation as planned? Graduate students in the dissertation phase of their studies are invited to participate in our dissertation boot camp. The UL Lafayette Dissertation Boot Camp provides doctoral students a focused time and space to dedicate to their writing, to receive feedback, and to be supported by others in the dissertation phase.

This two-day event will take place Thursday and Friday, October 5th and 6th.

The UL Lafayette Dissertation Boot Camp is designed for doctoral students who have approved dissertation topics, who are well into their dissertation research, and who are actively writing chapters of their dissertation. It will include group goal setting, opportunities for individual coaching from writing consultants, sustained writing time, and, of course, food and drinks.

This Boot Camp will be limited to 15 doctoral students. Participation does require completion of the application below, which is due by October 3rd. Students who are selected to participate will be notified and will receive information prior to the start of the event. Students selected to participate are expected to attend the Boot Camp in its entirety. Snacks and lunch will be provided both days.
