Dissertation Bootcamp 2019

The UL Lafayette Dissertation Boot Camp is designed for doctoral students who have approved dissertation topics, who are well into their dissertation research, and who are actively writing chapters of their dissertation. It will include group goal setting, opportunities for individual coaching from writing consultants, sustained writing time, and, of course, food and drinks.

This Boot Camp will be limited to 12 doctoral students and is split up into three sessions in June, July, and August in the Library Staff Lounge, Dupre 221. Participation does require completion of the application below. Students who are selected to participate will be notified and will receive information prior to the start of the event. Students selected to participate are expected to attend the Boot Camp in its entirety.

We are partnering with The Child Development Center to offer free childcare for participants' children (ages 1-3) during our June and July Boot Camps. Space is limited, so please contact Dr. Philip de Mahy after you have completed this webform at if you are interested.

Space is limited to 15 applicants per session. You may apply for up to two of the three available sessions for this event. Request the date(s) that are most convenient for you. If you select all three dates we will place you according to availability.
