Questions regarding the status of an application that are not answered
in the information provided on this page can be directed to Graduate School
staff here.
Once an application for graduate admission is received, it is combined with
your other application materials (GRE/GMAT scores, university transcript(s),
letters of recommendation, TOEFL scores, financial statement, Graduate Assistantship/Fellowship
application(s), etc. ) as these are received. After all application materials
are received and processed and the application fee is paid, your application
packet undergoes an initial review. If found satisfactory, your application
packet is then forwarded to the department(s) to which you applied for departmental
review. The departmental review process may take two to four weeks or longer.
A letter is mailed from the Graduate School to you once a final admission
decision is made. To protect your right to privacy, we will not release
admissions decisions over the phone or email.
Please Note:
Due to increased application volume during spring semesters and university
closures during certain holidays, please allow up to one week for the processing
of application materials within the Graduate School. Please refrain from
contacting the Graduate School about the status of your application immediately
after submitting your application materials since these inquiries delay
application processing.
You are welcome to contact the Graduate School
about the status of your application one or more weeks after submitting
your application materials. We will gladly assist you. Please allow more
time for delivery and processing of materials from international applicants.
